Here at Dalley Design Studio we offer an innovative measure-up and as-built process in our Remodels department. Our 3D Scanning technology provides more accurate as-builts which are used in our design process for remodel projects.
High-precision LiDAR
We utilize ultra-fast, high-precision LiDAR technology that takes millions of measurements of your existing structure, inside and out.
Point Cloud and LiDAR Scanning Technology
The LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology built into our 3D Scanner camera emits very quick pulses of light waves sent from a transmitter which are then reflected off of objects in the environment. The distance, color and specific location of each photon of reflected light is then recorded and stored as 3D data in the camera’s software. This 3D data is then translated into a Point Cloud where each and every of point of reflected light is visible in a 3D environment. The Point Cloud file is then imported into a software from which we use to build the 3D model of the structure that was scanned.
Remodel Design. Existing vs. New Construction
After completing the As-Built 3D model, we will incorporate your remodel design into the 3D model. Using our 3D Design Development technology, we are able to effectively show the existing vs. new construction in 3D, from which will also be used to show accurate and detailed demo and remodel plans for permitting and construction.
Tennant Improvement. Commercial As-Builts. Floor Plan Scans
We are not limited to just residential buildings. If you have an office building that needs an as-built, we got you covered! Whether you want the entire building scanned, or just a certain floor, we can produce the as-built plans you need for various purposes. That may be to showcase your space to a potential lessee, or to be used for an office TI or building remodel.
